As expected, Sprint has just unveiled the world’s first 4G Phone at CTIA 2010, the HTC Evo 4g. T he WiMax handset, HTC EVO brings a huge, 4.3-inch touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor,1 GB flash ROM, 512 MB RAM Android 2.1, 8 GB microSD included, HTC Sense UI, 8 MP camera with HD-capable video recording, forward-facing 1.3 MP camera, kickstand, HDMI out, 802.11b/g WiFi and Media player with 3.5mm stereo headset jack. If the first 4G phone wasn’t enough of a reason, that’s a pretty good list of motivation, isn’t it?! However, adding another piece of motivation, the EVO is capable of serving as a 4G hot spot for up to 8 Wi-Fi-enabled devices. If you’re outside one of the 27 cities that is equipped for Wi-Fi, the phone doubles as a 3G handset offering service over Sprint 3G.
